Fall 2021
Harvard University, Department of the History of Science

In this project-based class, students worked with a small team of students to share research important to them with a general audience and engage a broad community. The created web-based digital history projects that will be featured on a newly redesigned website for the Department of the History of Science.

The class was inspired by online exhibits, digital publishing, digital humanities, virtual reality, and more. Our work was grounded in techniques of public history, science communication, and design thinking. Students will learn the skills needed to research, plan, and build projects of their own design.
